Mark Harmon

Thomas Mark Harmon was born on September 2, 1951 in Burbank, California, USA.  For someone such as him, he has a lot of nicknames: Silver Fox, Quarterback, Papa Smurf, Gibbs, Charmin Harmon, and Papa Bear.  I know him personally as "Special Agent: Leroy Jethro Gibbs" from the TV series 'NCIS' meaning Navy Criminal Investigative Service, and he is just one great actor that has been around for years.

He is the son of Tom Harmon, athletic father, Elyse Knox, actress mother, a sister, Kelly Harmon who is a Tic-Tac model, and the oldest sister is Kristin Harmon, painter and ex-wife of Ricky Nelson.  Which makes him the uncle of musicians Matthew Nelson and Gunnar Nelson of the band Nelson and the actress Tracy Nelson.  He is to Pam Dawber from March 21, 1987 to the present, and they have two children: Sean Harmon who was born on April 25, 1988) and Ty Harmon who was born on June 25, 1992.

He graduated cum laude from UCLA, 1974, with degree in communications.  Also played quarterback for UCLA Bruins, hence his nickname 'Quarterback', from 1972 to 1973 winning National Football Foundation Award for all-round excellence.  He was very active when he was younger.

The reason why I like him is because in his TV show NCIS, there are those moments that his team is trying to be quiet about something, then he just comes up right behind them without even knowing, and they're sort of in shock of what Gibbs just heard from them, then his whole team says in sink, "Sorry Boss".  His team is the best team that I've ever really seen in a mystery/crime show, because I'm pretty sure that's the only mystery/crime show I watch...I hope.  Anyways this is all I have on this actor, if theirs any concerns about him or if I missed anything about him, please comment.  Hope you enjoyed this post and see you next time!
